SUBSIDARIES > Since 1990, our subsidiary SLR-MetallbearbeitungsgesmbH has been machining castings meeting high quality standards. CNC-controlled machinery and state-of-the-art measuring technology ensure the highest degree of precision. In 2003, the Steyr location was expanded and, in 2008, generated sales of more than EUR 8.5 million. We deliver most of our castings to the Czech Republic for fettling. At SLR-Czechia, our castings are deburred, inspected and, if necessary, primed or coated with preservative. After packaging, the parts are either delivered directly to the customer or returned to the Steyr location. An automatic fettling machines and manual workstations are available for deburring operations. Priming is performed on a modern, automated priming machine. Quality assurance covers hardness testing and crack detection. In 2002, SLR Czechia was certified according to ISO 9002.
